John Mayaki still Media Assistant to Pastor Ize-Iyamu
The Director of New Media to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Campaign Organization, Ms. Tinyan Otuomagie, has said that John Myaki is still the Media Assistant to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
In a statement sent to us, Ms. Tinyan Otuomagie claims that the initial story by Crack Naija Team on John Mayaki is not true, adding that “the story is a creative fiction planted by some elements who wants to muddy the names and images of the National Chairman and Pastor Ize-Iyamu, the gubernatorial aspirant.”
It reads –
This is to falsify the news reported by Crack Team Naija with the headline ‘Ize-Iyamu sacks Director of Communication, Mayaki after showdown over 500M campaign fund’.
The report, citing an altercation after a disagreement arising over a certain campaign fund, is fake and untrue in all of its entirety.
The report read in part that the purpoted 500m campaign fund was “reportedly given to Oshiomhole, Chairman of APC to deliver, former Secretary to Edo State Government in the infamous Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Government.” It is to be noted that the real source of the money, from which it arrived Oshiomhole’s hand was not mentioned, hence revealing that the story is a creative fiction planted by some elements who wants to muddy the names and images of the National Chairman and Pastor Ize-Iyamu, the gubernatorial aspirant.
In other part, the report claimed that Pastor Ize-Iyamu said “Mayaki lost his trust since 2016 when he sponsored negative publicity he sponsored against him during the Edo State Governorship election he lost to Governor Godwin Obaseki.” This, too, is a nonsensical aspect of the contrived fake news authored to cause chaos in the enviably united and harmonious camp of Pastor Ize-Iyamu. If anything, the activities of John Mayaki in the previous election is in the public, and is equally known to the pastor who yet went ahead to appoint John Mayaki on grounds of competence and efficacy.
Like the quoted parts of the story, all the sentences and claims in the report are comprehensively false, artificial, and has no correlation with reality. The badly written report in a counterproductive manner rather glorifies the campaign based on the fact that it is only the promising organizations that gets frequently attacked.
Besides, it also reveals the quackery behind the report with the jumbled sentences and horrible grammar. Truth often comes in neat grammar and incisive prose—the fake news didn’t.
John Mayaki remains in his position as the Director of Communication and Media to Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s campaign organization. The report in question was planted to cause upheaval but it has failed in its mission.
We implore all the supporters of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to be still and remain at peace because the campaign and ambition to Move Edo Forward is still on course.
