In October 2022, the 61-year-old thespian was announced as a member of the women’s wing of Tinubu’s presidential campaign council.

She was tasked with the responsibility of heading the Creative and Entertainment Industry committee of the council.

She congratulated Tinubu and his Shettima for putting up a tough fight, anticipating their victory at the poll on Saturday.

She shared photos from the APC colourful carnival-like presidential rally in Lagos on Tuesday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Sureulere, Lagos.

The special homecoming rally, which drew the curtain on Tinubu’s campaign witnessed the former Lagos Governor ride majestically in a double-decker bus from the Muritala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja through Mushin to Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, the venue of the carnival-like rally.

The procession passed through Ikorodu Road, bursting out at Western Avenue, Surulere.

Lagosians trooped out to catch a glimpse of the standard bearer, shouting: ‘Asiwaju, Jagaban.’

Captioning photos from the rally, she wrote: “The Grand Lagos Rally is the last of the presidential rallies for the APC. It has been a well-fought contest by our principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And by God’s Grace the ticket is his and Shetimas.

“As usual with @kemskis and my big Sis H.E Mrs Adejoke Orelope Adefulire SA to the President on SDGs. Pic 2&3) Thanks ladies for everything.”
