The protesters also chanted songs seeking the rescue of the abducted students.

In a related development, the Coalition of Northern Groups has warned that it will rally youths in protest if the schoolboys are not rescued.

This ultimatum was issued by the Group’s Chairman of the North-West Zone, Jamiu Aliyu through a press release.

Aliyu strongly spoke against the abduction and called on the government to bring the culprits to book.

He stressed that the Group was willing to mount pressure until the school boys were released from their captors.
