Karate: American International School Children’s Karate Championship

The American International School (AISL) Children Championship, hosted by Nigerian Association of Shotokan Karate (NASK), came to an end with Odi Redah, Bassey Onanta, Chibuike Okeke, Kenechukwu Ejiofor, Faridah Badmus, Nofisat Okuku, Tyler West, Mehek Bhuyon, Oyewole Lucky, Adewunmi Handed, Ore Oshin and Olaleye Ridwan, all clenching gold medals in Kata and Kumite respectively.


The championship which was held in respect of the schools 50years anniversary was to encourage children of various Karate styles, schools, and clubs to display talents, discipline and the art of Karate.


The event was organised for only children within the age range of four to eighteen years of age.

Mysterious boy, Odi Redah was the talk of the day as he claimed gold medals in Kata and Kumite, in his category.
