Kogi Governor approves Justice Henry Olusiyi as New Chief Judge 

 

The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has approved appointment of Justice Henry Olusiyi to perform the functions of the Chief judge of the state in an acting capacity.

 

Similarly, the governor approved the appointment of Justice Bayo Olowosegun to perform the functions of the President of the Customary Court of Appeal in the state also in an acting capacity.

 

This was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the governor’s spokesman, Onogwu Mohammed.

 

According to him, each of the appointments is for a duration of three months.

 

These appointments followed the demise of Justices Nasiru Ajana and Shaibu Atadoga.

 

Recall that the Previous Judge died recently which lead to the need for a new Chief Judge.
