As the preparation for the first of it’s kind  “Civic Week 2019” this Friday 20th December 2019 gets to the crescendo, the Office of the Civic Engagement ably led by the tireless Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu on Civic Engagement, Hon. Princess Aderemi Adebowale has partnered with “No Leftovers” the popular Moi-moi outfit and Biggie Foods.

The partnership according to the Special Adviser is beyond the launch of the  “Sanwo-olu cares” initiative, one of the program lined up to mark the maiden edition of the “Civic Week,” but to engage recipients/beneficiaries through mentoring, counseling and to inspire the recipients who are majorly starters of small scale businesses which is in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S developmental agenda pillar of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu Administration.

The Special Adviser and the Directors of the Office of Civic engagement in a meeting yesterday Tuesday 17th, December 2019 with lMrs Ayodeji Megbope the popular Moi-moi seller, who is owner of ‘No Leftover’ requested her not only for partnership but to come share her inspirational story of how she was able to start her Moi-Moi making business with just #1,000 and today the business has taken her to the white house in America, where she had the opportunity of meeting wife of the President of United States, Michelle Obama who ate her Moi-Moi at the white House.

In addition, Hon. Princess Aderemi Adebowale mentioned the fact that the Office of Civic Engagement will like for the partnership to extend beyond the launch of “Sanwoolu Cares” on Monday 23rd as there are many more lives to be touched via mentoring and inspiring programs for the people at the lower cadre of the society willing to empower themselves with small business and change their lives as indicated in the GreaterLagos vision of Governor Babajide Sanwolu.
