Lagos PDP party and bourdillon agenda : commentary

Lagos PDP party and bourdillon agenda

After 2011 general elections, there was a rumour that the Lord of Bourdillon boasted that by 2015 general Elections he will be having two Governorship candidates, one from APC and other from PDP.

This rumour was regarded as fallacy before leaders who meant well for the party.

They felt aspirants like Sen.Obanikoro, Dr.Dominic, Amb.Tokunbo Kamson among others could not trade off the party.

By 2014, Jimi Agbaje surfaced and it was rumoured that Chief Bode Oyedele, Sen.Ogunlewe and few others had concluded every plan to ensure he clinched the party ticket which they succeeded.

After 2015 election, Jimi Agbaje’s action baffled many party loyalists until 2019 elections when it became very clear that the party had produced a candidate who wasn’t ready to win Election.

Again sometime in August this year, there was another rumour that the Lord of Bourdillon has assured his kinsmen that before 2023 general election he will ensure that there is no opposition in Lagos state and if there is any, it will be an arm of APC.

The stakeholders did not bother much being sure that such will never happen with Dr.Dominic as state Chairman; not knowing that the agents of destruction were already at work.

Finally, there was another unconfirmed rumour in recent time that Dr. Eddy had met with the Lord of Bourdillon and he has assured him of sponsoring his Governorship ambition in Ondo State, and by doing that he must ensure Lagos PDP do not know peace or ensure he positioned a weak chairman.

I know some individuals may query veracity of this rumor.

But there is an adage in Yoruba land that OJO GATE KOJO GATE OFESE MEJI, more so, where is Ogunlewe and Oyedele today? etc

WHY THIS RUMOURS MAY BE REAL

1. The rumour of 2012 has come to pass and it was very clear in 2019, not to members of the party alone but also to the electorates.

2. If there is no assignment from Bourdillon, why doing things against the court order?

3. In few months, Dr.Eddy will resign as South-west Chairman to pursue his Governorship ambition in Ondo state, if there is no connection why is he in a rush when there is no urgency to rush things.

Lastly, I see Eddy olafeso as a stirrer in Lagos PDP, otherwise he would have used his position to enliven the party instead of throwing it into confusion.

But be rest assured that his mission will fail woefully.
