MAKINDE: The Fashola of Oyo State – – In this we would be comparing Seyi Makinde and Raji Fashola first tenure at Lagos.

Seyi Makinde has displayed to the people of Oyo State his administrational mentor, during the campaign periods they were busy promising the people with unrealistic, unproductive and unachievable promise in which they knew in their mind that they would not be able to fulfill all these promises but because they are desperate of handling/holding of power, power without humanitarian principle is equivalent to tyranny.

Seyi Makinde our Fashola in Oyo State itemizes all promises for the masses to fall for his trick in which it works out, while all actions in which he condemned is now what he himself running into with political propaganda which takes nowhere than to disrupt his reputation.

From his political propaganda during campaign, he campaigned to the people of Oyo State that immediately he assumed power he would stop payment of Three Thousand Naira educational fund in which the pupils were mandated to pay by the immediate administration, thou he did as promised but lack vision of covering the money stopped by him to finance the educational sector of the state in which he is driving the educational sector of the state backward because he did not have a solid progressive plan for the educational sector of the state but he thought coming to power has to do with wealth but he failed to realized that governance is business in which it require 100% consideration without having any external affairs which will affect the progress of the administration.

He lacks evaluation approaches of research in providing solution of the problem identified.

Also, increase of IGR of the state at the detriments of his citizens without any solid plan of making life enjoyable for the people of the state, within three month of assuming office, he increase the IGR of the state with over 400 million naira in which there is no wealth creation, job creation and job security for the people, during the period of hardship in which the citizens are busying struggle to survive for living, because he care facially for the people in which he focuses on how to generate more IGR for the state and he don’t care whether it will affect the people or not but for him to just achieve his mission.

Same with Fashola, his mentor during his first tenure at Lagos State that he make life difficult for the people of Lagos State, Heartless indeed, question ask; Fashola of Oyo State; the 400 million increase in IGR comes from where? Who bear the loss? Of what benefit is it to the people?

Has his mentor did, he also follow suit by making himself popular with media without infrastructure, security and health achievement to his citizens. But he is always present at the media to popularize with no achievement to add to his score card, his PR cannot be measured even presently now the media are now bias due to the role he played during Covid-19 for media houses, these has made the media houses to neglect truth to be told Seyi Makinde regard his administrational performance.
