I have learnt my lessons APGA stands tall above all aspirants, they may come and go but party remains.

Everyone will not win ticket to Run, but everyone needs to support the party.

Today, Anambra is successfully APGA and proud – everyone wants to run but not all can boost of the requisites to challenge at the forefronts.

APGA needs to field credible and popular candidates come 2019 so as to remain the 3rd force and Igbo identity.

In Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency Three (3) Candidates have declared interest so far to represent the Federal Constituency at the 9th Assembly under the platform of APGA while PDP with one (1) person so far.

There’s every need for Oyi/Ayamelum to remain APGA if not because the wife of the Governor is from the constituency, there are notable reason why it should be APGA.

Presently Hon. Barr. Gabriel Onyenweife is representing the constituency at the Federal house of Representatives (8th Assembly) and vying for reelection under the platform of APGA. Upon his election in 2015 to represent Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers after a successful stint at the State House of Assembly he has made his marks and strides within 3years.

He has been instrumental in numerous NASS affairs including international moves. One may wonder why Hon. Yakubu Dogara Speaker of the House of Representatives prefers him (Gabriel Onyenweife) to represent the lower chamber at most international functions, his antecedents ranks him high as a Nationalist.

He has been a member of numerous House committees where he as well chairs most despite coming from the minority ranks.

He is a member of House committee on Judiciary, Chieftaincy, Agriculture, Education and Accounts.

As a legal practitioner, farmer and Educationist, he is vocal, sound and vibrant in discharging his legislative duties. He is Young and golden to continue giving APGA a voice at the lower Chambers and should be supported for continuity.

Hon. Vivian Okadigbo and Hon. Ekene Enefe have equally declared, both are from Ogbunike in Oyi vying under APGA while APGA has already chosen Hon. Gabriel Onyenweife for reelection both are clamoring for war.

The last and all important Stakeholders and leaders of thought meeting in the zone held at HRH Igwe Chris Onyekwuluje’s palace affirmed Ayamelum eligibility to represent again while Oyi should wait till 2023.

The meeting was endorsed by all prominent Oyi na Omambala and State Government sent representatives equally. During the summit Elo Gwacham from Ogbunike who spoke on behalf of Oyi Stakeholders accepted the resolve for Ayamelum to represent the constituency come 2019 having been marginalized since the inception of the republic and asked that the agreement should be written.

It has now been settled in favor of Ayamelum and Gabriel Onyenweife that come 2019 continuity beckons.

Onyenweife has really done a great job for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency just that the media reported him badly.

APGA should continue in her quest to maintain excellence, equality and fairness by giving Ayamelum and Gabriel Onyenweife the party ticket he alone can match any candidate of the opposition party and return victory for APGA.
