Meet Faturoti Kayode Tayo ‘FATTKAY’ content marketing mini-god

In any circle where content writing and digital marketing Is mentioned ‘Faturoti Kayode Tayo, popularly known as Fattkay, founder of ‘FATTKAY MEDIA SERVICES’ would definitely have his name mentioned multiple times in that conversation.

Content writing which has gradually grown in popularity and demand for the services as all but tripled in the last couple of years.

In his own words “Content Writing Is a Secret Digital Marketing Weapon which is quite underrated in this part of the world. Irrespective of the marketing strategy in play, the content delivery goes a long way in calling the audience to action”.

Fattkay who can be described as an entrepreneur extraordinaire, is the author of 3 books written in his name. He is also an internet marketing expert and lead content developer at Eduregard, Testsregard, Hustle.ng and Digipaver.

Born and raised in a small town in Osun state, Nigeria. Growing up wasn’t so easy. Being the third child in a middle class family of 5. To become the content marketing mini-god he is today he had to spend a lot of time alone studying hard and not necessarily got his knowledge from any formal training or education.

Finishing secondary school in 2012 from Unique Minds College, Ile-Ife, as one of the best graduating students, he went on to study for a BSc. in Computer Science at Obafemi Awolowo University even though his parents wanted him to study medicine.

Graduating in 2018, he worked as a content writer and social media specialist with Online Mercenaries. Moving on to working on Fiverr and Upwork as a freelancer, helping lean entrepreneurs and businesses with digital marketing.  He teamed up with some friends to start Digipaver, then started his own brand – Fattkay Media Services and the journey so far has been a rollercoaster ride but worthwhile one.

Content writing is all about the fine art of storytelling. A compelling story can shape how other people think of your brand.

When asked about any advice for success for young people he said, “Be very hardworking. Treat your customers like kings and queens. Pray often. Give back to society. Build your team if you have one. Never stop learning and improving. Never be too comfortable. Make sure you are having fun! And remember, there are no shortcuts to success.”
