Kanye West may be embroiled in controversy as a result of his new apparel line, but at least he has luck with women. Model Juliana Nalu and the contentious rapper and fashion designer are currently dating, and they have been seen together on two separate occasions in the recent days.
The Brazilian beauty’s career is also accelerating as the romance between West, 45, and Nalú, 24, heats up.
According to Page Six this week, West is trying to use his on-the-rise romance with Juliana Nalu to divert attention away from the controversy surrounding his anti-Semitic social media remarks, which resulted in his expulsion from both Twitter and Instagram.
The insider claimed, “The new girlfriend – whatever comes next – it’s to try and make people forget.”
The rapper is also facing criticism for wearing “White Lives Matter” T-shirts during his Yeezy Season 9 presentation during Paris Fashion Week, a choice he has defended in the past (and that may wind up costing him his lucrative deal with Adidas).
Meanwhile, Juliana’s modeling career has taken off, with the stunning Brazilian-born beauty landing a campaign with swimwear brand FAE.
The statuesque stunner smoldered in a variety of tiny bikinis for the Australian brand’s summer 2023 campaign.
At that time they were living in the favela Complexo do Chapadao.
At the age of 18, Juliana was selected to be part of the L’Oreal Paris Brazil campaign; after she landed a modeling agency.
Juliana continued to model and expanded her resume to acting as well; at age 19 she traveled to LA and landed a contract with Elite Models.
Two weeks ago, Juliana celebrated her first fashion week, opening for the brand 6PM Season.
Kanye West, 45, has been seen on multiple occasions with the model.
The rapper and the model were seen checking into a hotel together in Beverly Hills on Thursday and grabbing dinner on Saturday night at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.
The duo were seen heading inside a clothing warehouse together as well.
On Monday they went to the movies together, with Juliana holding onto Kanye’s arm as they left.
Juliana appears to have met him through his brand Yeezy; she shared a snap of herself rocking the Yeezy sunglasses and a Gap by Yeezy shirt on Sunday, adding the caption: ‘YZY SHDZ.’
The model also posted a video last week showcasing her outfit to music by Kanye West; she had his song I Wonder, from his 2007 album Graduation.
Kanye also posted her wearing his sunglasses on his stories recently.
The sighting with Juliana comes four months after his split from Kim Kardashian clone Chaney Jones, an Instagram model, 25.
They were linked in January after he split from actress Julia Fox; he was also linked with Irina Shayk last fall.
Kanye and ex wife Kim split in 2021; Kim filed for divorce after seven years of marriage in February of that year.
Kim shares four children North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three, with Kanye.
In March, an LA judge ruled Kim legally single as they sort out custody.
Over the weekend, Kanye, also known as Ye, came under fire for his recent anti-Semitic tweet against the Jewish community.
The blowback from A-listers came as both Twitter and Instagram face huge criticism at their apparent reluctance to delete anti-Semitic comments from the site.
West was barred from posting on his Twitter account after the shocking threats – just hours after being restricted on Instagram.
