Slami is a Nigerian music artiste also known for his gorgeous looks and most especially unique sound. His music which has an infusion of Afro Pop, High life & RnB, a talent he uses in serenading his audience.
Born and brought up in Anambra State and partly Lagos State respectively, this enigmatic and charismatic entertainer honed and perfected his song and stage performance at a tender age following up music oriented individuals and participating in music related events till 2007 when he joined a music group called DA EAGLES that splitted in 2010. He had opportunities of working with few renowned producers & artistes at that time before and after the split. Regardless, he didn’t stop as we went ahead doing song covers for fun.
The Mgbo in Ohaukwu L.G.A, Ebonyi State, indigene was born IFEANYI ANSALEM ONAH and attended Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka where he graduated from the department of Sociology & Anthropology in 2015. While in school, he was persuaded to go into pageantry. Having had the opportunities to compete at local and state levels, he scored one of his major wins as Mr Anambra Universe 2014/2015. This also elevated his modelling career giving him extra opportunities to modelling & acting roles in the movie industry.
The word (Artist) is rampantly thrown around these days as we could see from singers & such. However in Slami’s case; the word (Artist) is almost an understatement. Not only does he keep up his love for singing, he is also a song writer, model, actor and founder of the SLAMI EMPIRE which is known for the founding and organization of ANAMBRA GOT TALENT.
In 2017, Slami snagged a management deal with Nigerian based entertainment company – REAL GLITZ NIGERIA LIMITED and currently on the move to drop his first solo single with the management. The Anambra born entertainer is not chilling as he is set to take advantage of all his connections to set his music career going.
Slami who is currently unsigned to any record label is open to interested brands for signings while he continues to do what he knows how best to do. The March 27th, 1993 born entertainer is all about magic. In all, his electrifying showmanship is absolutely astonishing.
