NEXT LEVEL FROM THE CHANGE TO WORSE: THE BODY COUNT

“Conscience is an open wound. Only truth can heal it” ~Ahmadu Bello.

Truth is not a relative pendulum that can be swayed by sentiment. It is a fixed reality. No matter what we pretend to do or live in self denial, the fact has been established that the APC controlled Federal Government has failed woefully.

It is painful that the average Nigerian does not know what is happening around him until you insult him to it. I had once said that Democracy is not good for Nigeria. It was an extreme statement. I had my reasons. You cannot operate a democracy successfully in a society where majority of the people are illiterates and uninformed. It is risky. Democracy has to do with decoding right information and making informed decisions based on rational and sensible facts. It is not a game of diversionary tactics and propaganda. More so the fact that there is a Nigerian dimension that is lacking in other climes; TRIBALISM.

The average Nigerian is a tribal and religious bigot. The freedom of democracy amplifies these innate tendencies. If in power, a Nigerian abuses his position to benefit his tribal and religious enclave. If in followership, he can be quickly deceived to undermine the greater good for the good of his tribal and religious circle. There is little loyalty to the Country. And this is due to the low level of education and nationalistic idealism in the country. Democracy is dangerous for Nigeria.

The Buhari government today is manned mostly by men and women of low intellect. Knee jack policies are made by half baked and poorly educated political appointees that are at best poorly implemented. The resultant effect is continues policy summersaults that at variance with the reality of things. A reasonable Nigerian cannot tell you that we are making progress in any sector of this country. Things are going from bad to worse. Yet we have praise singers singing the praises of President Buhari who himself is confused on what next to do.

Let’s sample the daily occurrences and state of the Nation under Buhari.

Headlines of Nigerian Newspapers on Wednesday, 16 October 2019.
Excerpts:
– FCT Abuja under siege from kidnappers, Bandits, Car thieves.

👏 We are talking of Abuja not Katsina state where the brothers of Buhari are relocating to NIGER REPUBLIC to naturalize and be alive to insecurity.

– Senator Ndume: 847 Nigerian Soldiers lost to Boko Haram in 6 years.

The Army is looking Ndume to come and prove.

The four years of Buhari’s first term witnessed a resurgence of Boko Haram. Millions of hard currencies were paid in ransom. Major military outposts were boldly attacked by ISWAP/Boko Haram in commando style. We saw BHT came to Dapchi in broad day light to dropoff captives and hailed by the people in funfare. The war has become a family affair and so we that are outsiders are standing akimbo. Boko Haram is growing stronger now. The world confirmed it. It is a “white lie” if the Buhari government tell anyone that they have defeated Boko Haram technically or in any other way. The government pulled out $1 Billion from the Excess Crude Account to fight the terrorist yet soldiers are boasting that they will finish off Boko Haram in 15 minutes if they have the equipment to prosecute the war. The Boko Haram leader also replied that the war is just starting. Don’t forget that batches of captured Boko Haram fighters whom the Buhari government claimed had repented have been released from prison constantly since 2015. Nobody is telling Nigerians how this set of dangerous people are profiled and monitored.

Senate: FG not ready to eliminate Boko Haram with N100 Billion budget. 🤐

NMA: 48 doctors kidnapped in 2 year (under Buhari).

Nobody and no where is safe in Nigeria under Buhari.

Kidnapped teacher, student die. (Fulani herdsmen attack).

There is palpable fear in the land. Government is still assuring and making more serious commitment to securing lives and properties.

Suspected (Fulani) herdsmen attack Benue woman in farm, chop off arm.

(This was how the Benin lady was attacked in her farm. She was gang rapped, tortured before butchered, chopping off one of her leg in Edo state. Police had to quell the avoidable clash between Benin and Fulani youths this year).

Nigeria losing N1Trillion annually to bad roads. Senate ask FG to declare state of emergency on roads.

It is as if Government business is on suspension since 2015. The FERMA is no where to be found. The last time they spoke, it was complaints about paucity of funds to maintain roads and that was all. States no longer rehabilitate Federal roads and ask for refunds because Buhari has finally stopped States from rehabilitating Federal roads if they will ask for refunds.

CBN wants to print currency with N14.5 Billion.

And I would have love to ask what they brought the USELESS Cashless Policy for?

FG seek approval to give Kogi state N10 Billion. PDP kicks, says it is another vote buying by APC.

But wait o! At this time of the night? To do what na? Cluelessness is a diseases!

Aisha Buhari: Mamman Daura family deny me access to villa apartment.

Hey! Governance has gone completely to the oza room.

Fatima Daura: How Aisha Buhari threw chair at us at Villa.

The sit of power is now a Yarinya playground. When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.

Nigeria’s debt hike by N3.3Trillion to N25.7 Trillion in one year (under Buhari).

In the midst of hunger and poverty.

This is what we have to contend with day in, day out for the past four years. You be the judge. Whether you are informed or not. Whether you are a “Wailer” or “Hailer” you will agree with me that all is not well with Nigeria any more. Things are bad and going worse every single day.

What the average Buharist in his selfish sycophancy wants us to do is not to tell a clearly sickman that he is unwell. We are no longer bothered about eradicating poverty. Nigeria is now the poverty capital. We glory in poverty with clean money and hard work rhetorical lectures from President Buhari and his aids. Unemployment is now good for people who think Nigeria was rich. Are we OK as a people? If you close the border to stop just RICE from coming in, what about our traders who sell local products to merchants all over the West African subregion.

Who are this government advisers? We claim to have defeated Boko Haram hence fulfilled the campaign promise to secure Nigeria yet Bandits, kidnappers and Fulani terrorist herdsman have taken over the country without official action. Food prices are skyrocketing yet government is imposing more punitive taxes.
