Day 2 of the NHF (National House Fair) was dedicated to the youths and as expected the excitement, glamour and energy filled the hall with comedy by Mc Bruno Face & Mc Edo pikin, dance performance and fun games. Winners of the games took home ten thousand naira recharge card and a cash prize of up to fifty thousand naira from the two hundred thousand naira donated by The Ooni of Ife as well as gift packs from The Host Company BSTAN GROUP.

Dignitaries who graced the event from day one remained consistent and graced the event on day two. Due recognition was accorded as they made their grand entrance into the hall.

The welcome address of the event was done by HRH (Dr.) Becky Olubukola. She laid emphasis on the schemes, projects and initiatives that The BSTAN GROUP has made available for everyone, ranging from kids to adults, the opportunity to own a home. Stating some of those initiatives are; not too young to own a home, metro housing shelter and lots more.

The Royal Father and Chairman of the event, The Ooni of Ife, HRH Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II gave an opening speech and promised to open as many doors as possible to support the youths to a better future.

Amongst the speaker for the day, the CEO Kinetic Hospital, Dr. Edward Ayodele Adewumi who spoke on the topic; Prevention of Sudden Death, Everybody’s Business, emphasized on the importance of having basic health care training like cardiovascular resuscitation. Without leaving out another important aspect of the event, the panelist discussion with the topic being Women’s Right And The 2030 Agenda For Sustainable Development. Amongst the panelists for the day was The Foremost PR Expert Mr. Tolu Oluwo (CEO, TROG World).

Finally, the most anticipated highlight of the day, the raffle draw where a winner of a consolation price for day one, won for himself a plot of land worth 10M in Abuja and the second winner a woman by name Faith. Also a third winner was chosen making it 5 plots of lands given out of the 10 plots of land to be won in the course of the 3 days event. Other consolation prices were won.

NHF Event has become a flagship event in the continent and a major promoter of national development through sustainable housing in West Africa.

The three day fair witnessed the commencement of Day 1 with the presence Ooni of Ife, other monarchs, politicians, civil servants, entrepreneurs in attendance.

The first speaker for the event Brig. Gen. Dele Arogundade spoke on the impact of youths in economic development. He also spoke on discovering yourself ; “You do not create your purpose on earth, you discover it”. He went further to explain that development takes time and requires three important stages which is the potential stage, process and products.

Mrs. Jane Kimemia Nechi, CEO, Optiva Capital Partners and a major partner of the BSTAN GROUP also did a beautiful work of addressing the audience on why women and youths should get included in economic growth and development for all.

Some major highlights for the events was the free wifi powered by Nitel and Airtel, anticipation of the raffle draw ticket winners where two lucky winners walked away with a plot of land (allocated to each winner) worth 10 million naira in Abuja and other consolation prices such as a gas cooker and microwave was won by the audience.
