Nigeria at 60: Dr. Godwin Maduka calls for Commitment to Nationhood

A renowned Umuchukwu born medical practitioner and People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) frontline Governorship aspirant for the Anambra 2021 election, Dr. Godwin Maduka (Okosisi Orumba), felicitates with Nigerians on the event of her 60th Independence Anniversary.

In his message, Dr. Godwin Maduka called for patriotism and prayers for Nigeria and it’s leaders.

He said, to build a united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria, it is important Nigerians pray for their leaders.

“I felicitate with our countrymen on the occasion of our 60th independence anniversary. This is obviously not the best of times for us as a nation. However, even in the face of socio-political & economic challenges, we must continue to sue for peaceful coexistence and tolerance”.

Signed by his Senior Assistant on Media and Strategic Communication, Engr. Obinna Okafor, he further stated that “rather than dwell on our shortcomings and regrets as a people, let’s continue to practice and promote the virtues of our founding fathers. Fellow Nigerians, our collective commitment to nationhood is priceless, together we rise”.

Dr. Godwin Mauka also reminded electorates that they are stakeholders with great roles to play in nation building.

The Okosisi Orumba concluded by charging youths to re-invent the legacies of Zik, Awolowo, Belewa & co and take charge of their future.”

May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Happy Independence Day!
