Prince MacDonald Enwere, social commentator and Public Affairs Analyst has commended the U.S Government for imposing Visa Ban on electoral offenders in Nigeria.

He also urged the American Government to expand their restriction list.

“AMERICA/UK VISA RESTRICTION FOR ELECTORAL OFFENDERS IN NIGERIA: A LAUDABLE DECISION.

I wish to most heartily express my sincere commendation to UK and American Government for their intrepid decision on Visa restriction and assets ban for electoral offenders and perpetrators in Nigeria.

Indeed, this epochal decision by the UK and American government is highly applaudable and will no doubt help to reduce the high level of electoral fraud in the Nation’s electoral democracy.

I however, appeal to UK and American government to expand their restriction list by including those that gang-raped our common resources which plunged Nigeria into a developmental haemorrhage, especially those in Imo state who are currently involve in the ludicrous personalization of public wealth against the payment of pension and gratuities, workers salaries and provision of other democracy dividends in the state.

I therefore, call on other countries of the globe to join American government in taking a similar proactive decision in order to restore sanity in our democratic system.”
