Nigeria is running a ‘Dominant Predatory Culture,’ says Olúseun Onígbińdé as the talk for what type of Party System the country is running.
According to Olúseun Onígbińdé, Chairman of Proximity Trust and Co-founder of BudgIT, “If PDP wins tomorrow, the circle of those that would benefit from the government would still be the prominent players in APC. They will disguise with retainers & consulting.
He concluded by saying, “We don’t have a two-party system, just one dominant predatory culture.”
Responding, a Twitter user, Somachi (@SomaKudi), wants Nigerian youths to have it in mind that there is no “cake” when going into governance.
She says –
Seun, can we move the convo away from “benefiting from government” a little? It leads many to believe that there is a national cake big enough for all of us but for our corrupt leaders who want to be the only ones “benefiting”. There’s no cake, maybe akara, but certainly no cake.
There should be anger that there is no cake at all as a result of consistently poor leadership. There are so many things we should be angry about first before even corruption
