The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has won the presidential election in Bayelsa State with a total of 68, 818 votes.
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, came second with a total score of 49, 975.
While the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, polled a total of 42, 572 votes to clinch the third position.
The State Returning Officer and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Lilian Salami, announced the summary of the results at the end of the collation of the results for the eight local government areas of the state at the Prof. Mahmood Yakubu Media Centre, Yenagoa INEC office, on Monday night.
Also, Atiku Abubakar emerged winner in Kaduna State.
Atiku garnered 554,360 to beat the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, who got 399,293 to come second while Labour Party’s Peter Obi polled 294,494 to claim third position.
But Obi won in seven Local Government Areas of Chikun, Kaura, Kajuru, Jaba, Kachia, Jema’a and Zango-Kataf while Tinubu won in troubled Birnin-Gwari as well as Sanga LGA where the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, hails from.
Atiku on his part won in 14 LGAs which include Giwa, Kauru, Lere, Ikara, Kagarko, Zaria, Sabon-Gari, Makarfi, Kaduna South, Kudan, Igabi, Kaduna North, Kubau and Soba

And in Bauchi State, Atiku Abubakar, defeated Bola Tinubu with 109,913 votes in Bauchi State.
The state Collation Officer of the presidential election, Prof. Abdulkarim Mohammed, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, announced the results on Monday.
He announced the results at 8.15 pm on Monday at the Prof. Mahmood Yakubu Conference Hall at the Independent National Electoral Commission Headquarters, Bauchi, the Collation Center for the presidential election in the state.
Giving a summary of the results, the collation officer said that Atiku got 426,607 votes while his closest contender, Tinubu, had 316,694 votes.
He said that the New Nigerian People’s Party candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso got 72,103 while Peter Obi of the Labour Party scored 27,373 votes.
Mohammed said that the registered voters in the state are: 2,749,268 while those that were accredited to vote are: 899,769.
The valid votes cast, according to him, are: 853,516, rejected votes: 29,030 while the total votes cast are: 882,546.
