NSCDC ANAMBRA: DECORATION OF NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS – – Following the release of result for 2019 Promotion Exercise conducted by Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board ( CDCFIB), a total of 130 officers (64 newly promoted, 66 Upgraded and Converted) that benefited in Anambra State Command were on Tuesday 1st December 2020 decorated with their new ranks.



Among the newly promoted Officers to the rank of Deputy Commandant of Corps are DCC Alex Osilim (Head of Agro Rangers Department) DCC (Dr.) Ekeopara Solomon (Head of Solid Minerals Unit), DCC (Barr) Japhet Okafor (Head of Legal Unit), DCC Benedict Onyeaghala ( Head of PGC Department), DCC Anyanwu Kennedy ( Head of Training Department) , DCC (Dr.) Judith Udemezue (Head of Crisis Management Department), DCC Eze Christopher (Head of Departmental Security Office), DCC Obiefuna Ifeyinwa ( Head of Planning, Research and Statistics Department PRS, DCC Mercy Duru ( Head of Servicom Unit); while among those promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant of Corps are ACC Ejike Okeke (Officer in charge of Special Duty), and ACC Ezego Cordelia (Head Anti Fraud Unit) and many others on various ranks.















Addressing the newly promoted officers before their decoration, the Zonal Commander NSCDC Zone K, ACG Raji Ibrahim A, admonished them to be steadfast as their promotion was based on merit, seniority and dedication to duty while urging them to sit up with the added responsibilities.
Meanwhile, the State Commandant of NSCDC in Anambra State Command, Comdt David Bille, FCIA while congratulating the officers urged them to reciprocate the gesture done to them by redoubling their efforts towards fighting crimes and criminality in the state and the nation at large.



Responding, on behalf of the newly promoted officers DCC Ekeopara Solomon thanked the Commandant General of NSCDC and the Board for finding them worthy of promotion and promised to be diligent in the discharge of their duties and not disappoint the Corps.
The event was graced by Service Commanders in Anambra State, colleagues, well wishers and family members of the newly promoted officers.
