Nursing Mother Arrested with two Ak-47 Rifles inside her Baby’s bag in Ondo

Men of Igbekebo Police Divisional headquarters in Ilaje Ese-Odo Local government area of Ondo state apprehended a 29-year-old nursing mother identified as Ebisemi Ebiyen, for allegedly concealing two AK 47 rifles inside her baby’s bag.

Ebisemi Ebiyen is currently at the Department, State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (DSCIID) of the state command in Akure,

Ebiyen was arrested by the police who acted on a tip -off. She was on transit within a neighbouring community with her six months old baby.

Reports had it that the husband of the suspect has since absconded after he got the news that his wife had been arrested.

A Police source hinted that, the CID has sent a signal to the Force headquarters in Abuja to inform the Inspector General of Police, Mr Muhammad Adamu on the development.

There are indications that the state Police Command will soon parade the suspect before newsmen shortly after preliminary investigations into the matter are concluded.

The woman could not give satisfactory explanation as to how she came about the dangerous weapons concealed in her bag.
