His Excellency, Chief Dr. Willie M. Obiano (Akpokuedike Global) The Executive Governor of Anambra State has restated his commitment to make Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and other tertiary institutions in Anambra State a reference point in Nigeria.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Quality Control (Tertiary Education) Dr. Constance U. Nzeako made this known during a courtesy visit to Prof. Greg Nwakoby, The Vice Chancellor, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.

Dr. Constance Nzeako, a distinguished academia per excellence with published scholarly works in reputable journals across the globe reeled out the vision and passion of His Excellency, Dr. Willie Obiano and his commitment to ensuring the attainment of highest educational standard in all tertiary institutions within the state.

She stated that Dr. Willie Obiano, a product of quality education from his days in Christ the King College Onitsha (CKC) has declared his willingness to support, promote and implement strategies and innovations which will place all tertiary institutions in Anambra State to an enviable height.

In his welcome remarks, The highly elated erudite scholar and Professor of Law, Prof. Greg Nwakoby expressed his delight with the Governor’s decision to appoint Dr. Constance Nzeako, a technocrat as a senior special assistant responsible for quality control for state owned tertiary institutions.

He also highlighted some developmental strides/projects being carried out by the university authority to ensure that Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University becomes the primus inter pares among other tertiary institutions in Nigeria and beyond.

He thanked His Excellency Chief Dr. Willie Obiano for his continuous support to the institution and further assured the State government of the unwavering commitment of the university authority to leverage on the existing conducive environment created by His Excellency to make the State proud.
