Sunday, 23rd Dec, 2018 is a day that will linger on the lips of Lagos concert-goers for months to come. The King “Baddo” unlocked a new level of stage craft as he headlined Day 3 of the Flytime Music Festival with “OLAMIDE LIVE”.
Hosted by Ushbebe and Funny Bone, the concert began with amazing performances by rising talents such as Street Billionaires, King Perryy, Barry Jhay, Dapo Tuburna, Oladips, and Chinko Ekun with ‘Able God’ as he elevated the crowd spirits.
The newest memebers of the YBNL family were also introduced; Limerick, Lyta, Davolee, Fire Boy, Picazzo, Yomi Blaze and Temmie Ovwasa as they all delivered beautiful renditions of their various tracks.
Celebrity OAP and hypeman Do2TUN came on stage and introduced the man of the moment “Olamide” who emerged wearing a mask. Accompanied by Dj Enimoney and the awesome choreographers who created a unique dance routine for every song.
Olamide connected with his fans like never before as he dished out live renditions of his rich catalog packed with nothing but hit anthems.
Other performers of the night included Reminisce, Timaya, Phyno and Naira Marley who was joined by Lil Kesh to tear up the stage with their hit single, ‘Issa GoaI’. Each performance saw fans screaming and singing along as they stood atop their seats to get a clear view of the electrifying show the YBNL boss presented.
As if this wasn’t enough, Flytime decided to daze the crowd with a surprise performance of the hit track “Kana” as Olamide and Wizkid performed the song on stage for the FIRST time, and the reception was out of this world. Wizkid went on to perform some of his hit songs like ‘Ojuelegba’, ‘Fever’, ‘Fake Love’ and ‘Soco’.
