Governor Seyi Makinde has been made chairman by the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) towards the Ondo 2020 guber.

This was contained in a notice released by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja on Wednesday.

Makinde will be leading the PDP’s 145-member campaign council for the Ondo State Governorship Election slated for October 10.

Governor Bello Mattawale of Zamfara State was also named as the deputy chairman of the campaign council.

National Financial Secretary of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Maibashira, was appointed a Secretary of the council.

The PDP Ondo 2020 council has all serving PDP governors, some former governors and members of the National Assembly as members.
