The Ondo state Amotekun have arrested four persons over burning of its operational vehicle and motorcycles at Sanusi Village, Owo, of the State on Thursday.

Recall GBETU reported that no fewer than two persons reportedly lost their lives after some suspected herdsmen attacked the Sanusi Village and on the process of rescue, operational motorcycles and vehicle of the Ondo Amotekun were reportedly set ablaze by the bandits.

The suspects whose identities were not released by the security outfit due to ongoing investigations were arrested in a forest reserve in Owo Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking on the development on Saturday the state Commander of Amotekun Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspects were linked with the killing of a farmer and a member of the vigilante group in Ago Sanusi along Ute Road in Owo.

He however noted that the suspects were not herdsmen, noting that the herders sighted in the forest fled upon seeing his men.
