Ondo Deputy Gov, Agboola Ajayi picks PDP Membership Card

The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

The Deputy Governor resigned his membership at Ward 2, Apoi, in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State.


This is coming hours after he was blocked from leaving the government house and taking any of his property.

 

His resignation from APC puts an end to the speculation trailing his planned defection which initially is supposed to be on Monday 22nd June.

Ondo Deputy Gov, Agboola Ajayi picks PDP Membership Card

Agboola Ajayi, a former member of the House of Representatives also picked membership card of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) immediately he was free at his ward.

 

He is expected to officially defect to the PDP with nine members of the State House of Assembly on Monday


Ajayi while submitting his resignation letter at the APC secretariat in Apoi Ward 2 on Sunday, said everybody knew why he left the APC.


Meanwhile, news making rounds have it that the Ondo State SSG, 2 Commissioners and 5 Special Advisers have resigned their membership from the APC to join PDP.
