Oyo: Police allegedly attacks LAUTECH Students with Bullets and Tear Gas.

The Nigeria Police on evening of Friday, 27th July, allegedly attacks students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo state.

This attack, according to SUG personnel, came as a result of peaceful negotiation for the release of a comrade that was arrested around 1am at the Facebook Junction, under G students area of LAUTECH.

The SUG President and his security surveillance team peacefully to negotiate release of the molested victim but were allegedly harassed by the NPF SARS officers, who shot about “twenty times” against them.

No student was reported hurt at the time of this report but the Students Union bus (Aluta jet) was seriously damaged.
