Selina actor Pascal Tokodi has for the first time spoken about his secret wedding to Cross Over 101 TV host Grace Ekirapa.

Speaking at the Maisha Mapenzi event hosted at SuperSport Studios, Pascal said, “It was a very private ceremony, someone leaked the picture. It trended that same night.”

To try and minimize the effect of the leak, and confuse his enemies – and fans – Pascal Tokodi spun it like a photo that was taken on the set of a music video.

That is because the couple was not ready to go public about their relationship or marriage.

“I called King Kaka that same night and we went to the studio and that same week we shot the video and released it.”

Asked if he knows who leaked his wedding photo, Pascal said, “I know who it is. I have met him a couple of times.”

He continued, “I have no idea why he leaked it because we tried to make it as private as we could because it was during Covid times so we just wanted to have a very small and simple ceremony so that when we are announcing, we are ready.”

Pascal Tokodi, officially known as Pascalino Lpesinoi Lenguro Tokodi, is a Kenyan musician, actor, comedian and song writer. Pascal debuted as a professional actor in 2012 when he featured in Citizen Tv’s Makutano Junction gig, a few months after completing high school, taking the role of Thomas.

Meanwhile, the musician and his wife Grace Ekirapa  are expecting their first ‘seed’.

The couple took Instagram to make the announcement with lovely photos.

An excited Tokodi couldn’t hide his joy as he prepped to become a father.

“A place in my heart that I never knew was empty, has been filled,” wrote Pascal Tokodi, accompanied with prayer hands and family emojis.

The soon-to-be mother also expressed her gratitude and sent out new year wishes to her fans.

“The Lord continues to Perfect all that concerns our lives and it is beautiful in our eyes. This is a story we shall tell one day. Happy New Year from our growing Family,” wrote Grace Ekirapa.

Tokodi recalled how he met Grace at a coffee shop and how smitten he was at first sight, saying it was his first-time seeing her in person.

“On a certain 4th, you walked in a certain Java. It was my first time seeing you in person and I remember staring at you as you looked for a place to sit. You should have seen how wide my smile was when you chose the seat next to me,” he wrote in part.

Sharing details of their first in-person meet-up, Pascal revealed that Grace’s presence made him speechless.

“You ordered pancakes, pulled out your laptop and started working. I, on the other hand sat there looking at you wondering how I was going to make the first move. For a guy who usually has a lot to say, I was speechless that day, you must have noticed because you looked up and smiled at me, I smiled back and that was the beginning of everything for me,” he wrote.

From time to time, Grace has taken to social media to publicly declare how deeply in love she is with her husband.

“It’s in the way you look at me and tell me I am okay even when the storms are soo harsh. It’s in the way you stroke my hair as I drift to sleep just for me to know that you are present. It’s in the kisses you blow my way and the winks in a crowd that keeps me glued to the direction that you are in no matter how far. I knew I wanted something but God knew I NEEDED YOU. You are my one and only. I made it through the waves because you held my hand. I Love you My Babie @pascaltokodi Thank You for being My ALWAYS AND FOREVER” wrote Grace Ekirapa.
