Pius Odubu accepts Victor Giadom as Acting National Chairman

One of the Edo Political Movement, EPM, aspirant, Pius Odubu has asserted that he and his supporters have decided to accept the Victor Giadom as acting national Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, following the suspension of the former Adams Aliu Oshiomhole by the Court of appeal in Abuja.

He expressed deep sadness over the turture that he has gone through under the former chairman saying he was a dictator. He said he is also arrogant to leaders and members of the party.

Odubu stressed that he has never been comfortable with the way Oshiomhole ran the former office. He stated that for him, the suspended chairman should learn from the need to show fairness among members of the party as most his actions leave alot to crave for.

He noted that whoever wins between him and Obaseki, he will congratulate the winner. He promised to make himself available for the new screening committee to be constituted by the new acting national Chairman of the party. He said he believed in the integrity of the acting national Chairman and he will be available for screening. He said he is ready to work and all his supporters have been told to accept the Chief Giadom led NWC.

It will be recalled that the court of appeal had earlier said it reserve final udgement on the matter until a later date. The high court where the suit for his suspension and removal was first determined, the trial court had said the ward executive of ward 10, Etsako local government council was in order.

Also, the court however accepted that the identities of those who suspended Oshiomhole were not in question because in their unchallenged affidavit, they made it clear that they were party members and officers of the party.

Delivering the ruling, the court said that the appeal lacked merit and was subsequently dismissed.
