Popular Film producer and talent agent, Jerry Weintraub, dies at 77.
This is according to his publicist, Michelle Bega.
Weintraub died in Santa Barbara of cardiac arrest, said Bega.
He was in the entertainment industry for more than five decades and is considered one of the most entertaining figures, according to “Broadway Danny Rose”.
Among the friends mourning his death was former President George Bush.
Weintraub was known for “promoting Elvis Presley concerts, producing the “Ocean’s” movies and spinning larger-than-life tales”.
He started his career in 1974 and is survived by four children.
