Mr. Yahaya Bello , who is an incumbent governor of Kogi State.

He is one of the presidential hopefuls of the All Progressives Congress (APC) participating in today’s primary.

On Monday, the Kogi governor did not attend the northern governors’ meeting with Buhari.

According to Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna, Bello didn’t align with the position of his counterparts on power shift to the south.

It was also noted that the incumbent governor walked out of the Western Governor meeting on the 6th of June, News had it that he was asked to step down for other South West aspirants during the meeting.
