Prof. Akin Abayomi seems to have been INTIMIDATED by the Federal Government.

Lagos State Commissioner of Health, Prof Akin Abayomi seems to have been INTIMIDATED by the Federal Government.

He told Lagosians and Nigerians that he did not know the Lagos private hospital where Abba Kyari was receiving treatment to the chagrin and consternation of many.

Unfortunately, he contradicted himself ‘yesterday’ by naming the private hospital where the late Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari received treatment and also stated that the private hospital; was authorized to treat patients with covid19.

We should recall that the Federal Government and indeed the NCDC issued a directive that no private hospital should treat COVID-19 patients.

Some Nigerians are already confused, only God knows the number of private hospitals in Lagos that are now treating COVID-19.

Akin Abayomi may come out tomorrow to spin the NCDC guidelines.

Commentary.
