Public figure status: You need money to make money – Doyin BBN

Doyin, a former housemate of Big Brother Naija, has offered guidance to aspiring celebrities. In her post, she advised that the lifestyle of a public figure can be costly and therefore suggested that those interested in such a path should have financial stability or a reliable support system.

Doyin emphasized that the life of a public figure requires a significant amount of financial resources, from maintaining a certain image to keeping up with appearances. Hence, she advised against entering the public eye without either sufficient financial backing or a dependable support system.

Her words of advice read:

“I want to make it clear that being a public figure comes with a high cost. Therefore, my advice is simple: do not venture into this space if you lack the financial means or a strong support system. To make money, you need money. So, you must be well-prepared before stepping into the limelight.”
