Publiseer Selected As Best Projects At The 2019 Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition

Nigerian digital content distribution platform, Publiseer, has been selected as one of the 47 Best Projects at the 2019 Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition.

The “Best Project” startups consist of innovative projects run by existing enterprises in the form of businesses, NGOs or informal programs.

The Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition is a global programme to empower young entrepreneurs to create a sustainable world. It is an activity within the framework of the UNESCO Global Action Programme (GAP) on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

Publiseer allow independent African writers, musicians and filmmakers from low-income communities, to publish, protect, promote and monetize their creative works on 400+ partner stores in 100 countries, at no charge, with a single click. Our partner stores include Amazon, Google Play, Apple store, Barnes & Noble, Spotify, Kobo and Deezer. These Creatives can monitor their performance across all stores using our centralized dashboard.

Since inception, Publiseer has helped over 2,100 African creatives to monetize their creative works worldwide, raking in over $100,000 in revenue.

Publiseer emerged the first place winner in the OpportunityDesk Impact Challenge and won the Startup World Cup Nigeria Regional Competition.

They have been accepted into Accelerate Labs by Microsoft, Venture Incubation Programme by University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, Ally by Google, and Global Startup Program by Singularity University.

Publiseer has also been recognized by the International Finance Corporation as one of the startups that could speed up innovation in Africa.

Recently, the digital content distributor was selected for the Next 100 African Startups Initiative organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation.
