RAP Party Vs Hope Uzodinmma case to continue Wednesday

2023: Hope Uzodinma not running for presidency - Imo Govt

The case between RAP Party and Hope Uzodinmma has been postponed to Wednesday, 15th July by Hon. Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja.

 

Recall that Governorship Candidate of RAP Mr. Okereke had approached Federal High Court Abuja to seek for Judicial interpretation in regards to if truly APC as a political Party sponsored Hope Uzodinmma as their Candidate during the 2019 Imo State Governorship Election.

 

Also recall that on December 20th, 2019, the Supreme Court gave judgement that APC did not have Candidate for Imo State Guber Election, 2019.

The APC Candidate was supposed to be Mr. Uche Nwosu, but because of his double candidacy of AA and APC he now stands disqualified leaving APC without any valid Candidate for 2019 Guber Election in Imo State.

 

The matter have hence been adjourned to Wednesday, 15th July, for morning, by 9am, at Court 5, Federal High Court Abuja.
