The attention of Dr Abasiono Okon has been drawn to a post made by Mfon Ottuk captioned “ABASIONO OKON AND GABRIEL OBOT FLOOR EMPEROR AT HOME.”

I wish to state here that Dr Abasiono Okon is not aware of any plot by Mfon Ottuk and Gabriel Obot to discredit any politician in Ikono. Dr Abasiono Okon is a member of PDP and had never and will never in anywhere partner with any APC member who only spent twelve thousand Naira to rent an apartment for Umo’s family just to politicize it and the project by discrediting a politician.

Dr Abasiono Okon while speaking to his media team, warned them not to use his name for any personal opinion. He thanked the Federal House of Representative member, State house of Assembly member, Chairman of Ikono L. G. Council and other political office holders for putting their best to alleviate poverty in Ikono, as he noted that no politician neither private individual can reach out to every persons in Ikono nor President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria can reach out to all Nigerians. He equally advised that no one should use his philanthropic gestures for political purposes or use it to discredit anyone.

He reaffirmed his commitment for continuous benevolence to the people without paying attention to mischief makers who cannot buy one cup of garri to Ikono sons, yet intend to bring his hard earned reputation and good gestures to mud, as he stopped at making his stance on his kind gestures to Ikono sons clear of not having anything to do with any political ambition as he wish not to contest for any political office.
