Re: TURAKI PREFERS TO MOVE ON, AND FOCUS ON HIS ENGAGEMENTS WITH THE PEOPLE

Re: TURAKI PREFERS TO MOVE ON, AND FOCUS ON HIS ENGAGEMENTS WITH THE PEOPLE

We’ve read and perused the latest ‘reply’ of the opposition candidate, Mr. Bolaji Abdullahi.

It is the position of our candidate, Mallam Saliu Mustapha that he would no longer dignify the letterman, Mr. Abdullahi, or any other opponent for that matter, with a further reply.

It should be noted that it is ordinarily not in the character of our candidate, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, to engage in public brickbats with anyone, but his traducers this time had left him with no other option.

Our candidate, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has made his points, he would prefer to leave the judgement to the people.

Moving forward, it is the wish of the Turaki to continue to focus on the engagements with the electorates who look forward passionately to conversations on issues that will elevate their socio-economic wellbeing as citizens.

We thank all well-meaning leaders of thought, community stakeholders, and public-spirited individuals, among others, who showed genuine concern over the incidence.

We reiterate once again that we would continue to be civil and decent in our public engagements. This is the minimum, irreducible standard we have set for ourselves as a campaign organization, no matter the temptations to do otherwise.

Together, Insha Allah, we shall take the Kwara Central to the level it rightly belongs and deserves.

Thank you.
