RE: UMUCHUKWU/NKEREHI TALE – ONYE JI BỌỌLỤ, KA ANA AGBA TACKLE.

…Dr. Godwin Maduka, sure to take Ndi Anambra to the promise land

Firstly, I must commend all good spirited Ndi-Anambra who have come out to unequivocally condemn the sponsored protest by the supposed defunct Nkerehi women. The alleged cases of molestation, intimidation and harassment is untrue and non-existent. Such futile political blackmail could simply be described as hand of Esau voice of Jacob. No doubt Dr. Maduka’s (Okosisi Orumba) presence in politics has changed the narratives, a lot of desperate political merchants are uncomfortable with what he’s bringing to the table for Ndi Anambra. Hence, they continue to seek ways to exploit and smear the widespread grassroot support and towering reputation of the Umuchukwu born globally renowned medical expert.

Logically, legitimacy shouldn’t be given to issues laid on no foundation. The defunct Nkerehi as a town decided that their name should be changed to Umuchukwu (Onitsha, Agulu or Ihiala didn’t decide that for them). Due process of a referendum was followed and outcome gazetted by the Anambra State Government. Like in all reform movements, no matter how beautiful and wonderful an achievement might be, it won’t be pleasant to all. Dissenting families who were less than 3 in number, went to court challenging the referendum up to appellate level, but lost all cases.

RE: UMUCHUKWU/NKEREHI TALE – Onye ji BỌỌLỤ, ka ana agba tackle

Curtsey Dr. Godwin Maduka and progressives who supported the transformation, Unmuchukwu town today is presumed to be the fastest developing town in Anambra state with basic infrastructure and amenities. Dr. Maduka didn’t bring all these development he brought to Umuchukwu town through propaganda, intimidation and anti-people policies/programs. Knowing that development will be incomplete without unity, Okosisi Orumba has continued to pursue the path of peace, as frantic efforts to reconcile the dissenting families with the town has been sustained.

He unboxed and lunched Umuchukwu to the world, as against the wicked agenda of a manipulative few who preferred to keep the town in bondage, than, embrace liberation which Umuchukwu represents. How else can one describe man’s inhumanity to mankind? Ndi Anambra are awake, they now can differentiate accidental philanthropists from true leaders who have been consistent with their service to God and Humanity. Most importantly, they know that come 2021, we will #WinWithGodwin.
