FARE THEE WELL FR. BIGBOY-RAY

Rev. Fr. Raymond was a jolly good fellow. I never knew him earlier before 1996/97. He had been in SPY a year ahead of me but I rounded up and stepped aside for him and others to fill the limited vacancies in the prestigious Pontificia Università Urbaniana (Rome) for Philosophy 1, that academic session.

He was never caught frowning. He was never at loggerheads with any son of man.

Fr. Ray was loved by all that came across him. He was an examplary priest, dedicated to his service to God and mankind.

Ovungwongwo was my friend 😭😭😭. He made 1st Class in all his academic degrees.

May he enjoy the full benefits of the sacrifices he has made for the purpose of the Kingdom.

Smile home, Rev. Fr. Raymond Ifeanyi Eselu, till we meet again.
