Yesterday being Saturday; October 8, 2022, the late Personal Assistant to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah; Mr. Goodnews Mathias was buried in his hometown in Ikot esedan Ika LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
The funeral was attended by a high profile delegation which includes; The State Chairman of the Young Progressives Party (YPP); Mr Nyeneime Andy, Mr. Chijioke Ugochukwu; MD, The Choice Mall, Chief Edwin Igbokwe, Party Executives and Igbo Community in Akwa Ibom.
Before his untimely demise during the attack on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s convoy, Mr. Goodnews Mathias was Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s Personal Assistant.
Undoubtedly, his departure is a sad loss, not only for his immediate family, but for us all. We pray the good lord to grant us the strength and fortitude to bear this loss.
