Nigerian music star and Lagos Island legend, Paul Idowu Dominic, simply known as Sheliroy, has made a majestic announcement for fans of good music out there.

The Music Maker, Artiste, Songwriter SHELIROY, after the release of his previous single titled “Remember Me” in 2020, reveals secrets about his experience in the entertainment industry.

“My journey so far in the entertainment industry, really shaped me to become who I am today. For the Highs and Lows, the Blessings & Lessons, the Setbacks, Comebacks, Love & Hate. I’m thankful for all of it. I value and respect where I come from, Lagos Island, Obalende, and my fans round the globe, for all of their supports.

In 2015, Sheliroy signed an official record deal with his former label owner, Hon Akin Alabi (Now a member of the House of Rep. Nigeria), under the label & management of Over The Top Entertainment, frontlined by the duo “Skuki”. He released a couple singles and collaborated with the likes of DJ Jimmy Jatt, CDQ, Small Doctor, amongst few, with an ever growing number of streams online.

Sheliroy, like many other artistes, has been in the music industry for a while, maintaining his relevance with lists of songs featuring heavyweights like Vector, General Pype, Shaydee (former EME signed artiste) and others.

The songs “Shumpey”, ”Eleda Masun”, ”Mumbai”, ”Koshi” really put him on the space as a top talented artiste in Nigeria and beyond. But there is always that break you just have to….

In 2012, he won the “Do Your Own Thing” competition of the Lagos State Black Heritage Festival.

The native of Delta state was awarded as the “Most Outstanding Vocal Artiste of the Year” 2017. The honorary award was presented to Sheliroy, by Flaunt Magazine Awards.
