The shopping mall is currently put up for sale, while Nigerians are complaining bitterly on tweeter;  we hope the government does something about,



For about two years thereabout, Shoprite has helped Nigeria in boosting the sales of made in Nigeria goods, hopefully the government will consider this, and also the number of Nigerians who will be rendered jobless if this company folds up.

The Cape Town-based retailer has started a formal process to consider the potential sale of all or a majority stake in its supermarkets in Nigeria, it said in a trading statement for the 52 weeks to end June released.
