Shut Up, we are changing this Government – Tacha reacts to Intimidation

Big Brother Naija star, Tacha has served a response to those telling Nigerians who are seeking a change in government to shut up.

Speaking at a symposium days after All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu told those seeking a change in government to ‘shurr up’ and many Nigerians applauded his mental intimidation to generations.

Shut Up, we are changing this Government – Tacha reacts to Intimidation

Responding in an interactive session by The Future Project , Tacha said those making such comments should “respectfully shut up”.

The reality show star who noted that there are discussions going on each day about the 2023 elections, said youths have woken up and are going to ensure their voices are heard.

She also said that politicians who claim they love the country, don’t have any kids sitting idle at home for over 8 months because ASUU is on strike.

Tacha also said that while many Nigerians have been mocked with claims of only making noise online, the change youths seek will be replicated offline.

She also said that after God, the next powerful entity is government because one decision they make can make or mar citizens.

Meanwhile, Anita Natacha Akide popularly known as Tacha or Symply Tacha, has sternly warned Nigerians and politicians in general not to expect respect from her, especially as the country approaches its next general elections.

For Tacha, the politicians would not attempt killing her and her unborn children, yet expect respect from her. She tweeted:

“You see this elections ehn! Let no body bring up respect oh! Because you cannot be trying to k*ll me and my unborn children and still be expecting respect from me. I like to be polite BUT Shurrup your mouth.”

Tacha’s outcry is coming hours after netizens dragged Nigerian Afrobeats and highlife singer, Teni the Entertainer, born Teniola Apata for not ‘respecting’ President Buhari as she received an award of recognition.

Teni was conferred with national honours in recognition of her contribution to the music industry.

Previously shortlisted with TuBaba and Burna Boy, Teni graced the award ceremony herself to get decorated with her national honour; a member of the order of the Niger.

After receiving the award from the President, Teni walked majestically back to her seat and this didn’t go down well with some Nigerians.

Teni’s critics argued that she was disrespectful to the President of Nigeria for not giving him a handshake.

‘But Buhari does not shake women?’
