Strife between Kanye West and Drake started for years
because of a fight Pusha T and Drake had which Kanye got himself involved
because he produces for Pusha.
Pusha revealed in a
song that Drake have been co-parenting with French model, Sophie Brussaux,
which was later confirmed by Drake on his album “Scorpion “. Drake
believes that Kanye told Pusha about his son “Adonis” and he didn’t
find that funny. Drake’s third track from his album titled
“scorpion”, which Tyler Morrison used is an example.
“I already hit
her when you left her lonely.
She is not the type that likes to take things slowly.
Slowly, my mouth is goin’ off, I don’t know patience.”
The above lyrics rumored Drake was referring to
Kanye’s wife “Kim” due to the time Kim was left alone when Kanye had an health issues in late 2016/early 2017 and well they do
both live in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles.
Then there’s Drake’s
hit of the summer titled, “In my feeling”. The song went viral in
July 2018 due to the Kiki challenge’, which saw the public film themselves dancing
to increasingly elaborate routines, with some controversially jumping out of
moving vehicles. Tyler again later
claimed that the Kiki mentioned in the song is none other than Kim Kardashian
since it has been a well documented nickname that Kim has in her family.
Kanye in the other
hand, didn’t find any of the talks and dramas funny, he went to his Instagram
page on to express how he feels about Drake, Nick cannon “Kim’s
ex-boyfriend” and Tyson Beckford talking about his wife “Kim
Kardashian” in a series of social media videos.
“First of all,
I want to address Nick cannon like I understand you used to date my wife, but
you get in an interview, don’t mention my wife. If someone brings my wife up,
you say “Hey, I respect that man, I’m not speaking on that: Don’t be
making suggestions, like nobody fucked my wife”.
He continued by
telling Drake that he wasn’t in a medicated state,
if he had been he might ‘ve had the thoughts
to tell Pusha not to diss Drake on his beat. He then brought up the rumors
about Kim being Kiki from Drake’s song in my feeling, he then said Drake didn’t
in anyway say anything like that.
“You know, if I had a girlfriend from
Chicago her name was Renita and then you was married to Rhianna, I wouldn’t
make no song called “Riri”. So when you’re
like, “Ah I don’t know where it
comes from”. You’re too smart for that bro. You know where that comes
from. Don’t make no record with nothing that could be confused.
And he denied
telling Pusha about his baby mama and saying nobody should mess with his family.
