Three Decisions the APC Caretaker Committee made after Meeting

The APC Caretaker committee headed by the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, held her inaugural meeting.

In the meeting, the recognized factional acting chairman of the APC prior to the dissolution of the NWC, Chief Victor Giadom, officially hands over to the Mai Mala Buni led caretaker committee and the Head of the APC Legal Department, Dare Oketade, administered oaths of office and allegiance to members of the committee.

Here are three decisions reached in the meeting by the Caretaker committee:

1. The Caretaker committee unanimously agrees to visit Bola Tinubu this week.

The reason is to pacify him and make understand that the dissolution of the NWC by President Buhari was not targeted at him nor to scuttle his Presidential ambition.

Mai Mala Buni, said Bola Tinubu has contributed immensely to the party as such the party holds him in high esteem.

2. The committee decided to focus on reconciling aggrieved members in a bid to make the party stronger. Members of the party will be pacify to withdraw all legal actions taken against the party

3. The committee lastly decides on the formation of a campaign council for the Edo governorship election and preparations towards a peaceful conduct of the primary for Ondo State.
