Below are top reason an Igbo man, Ikenna Ellis Ezenekwe believes Igbos should drop their agitation for Igbo Presidency come 2023.
Mr Ikenna says –
1. “The strongest political block in America are the Jews/Israelis but they have no interest in producing a Jewish American President.
2. The same needs to be reflected in Nigeria with the south eastern Igbo. Particularly against the 2023 presidential elections.
3. In candidness, what the Igbo needs is free air, free space and conducive environment to excel, not necessarily patronage.
4. It is for this reason that the Igbo must look outward pragmatically to a choice personality that can be presented as a presidential candidate.
5. Someone that could draw the number of required votes from the north (both east and west), someone who is a proven patriot, not a bigot.
6. Someone who has the smarts to govern multi-tribal groups and not display partiality as presently being displayed in Kaduna against the southern minorities, or as being displayed at the national level against Christians and minorities.
7. Someone the entirety of Nigeria can trust. Not Atiku. But a new face.
8. Igbo must seat well and reason deeply. It is not earthly possible for the Camel to pass through the eye of a needle.
9. Igbo should look to the North East for a partner.
