Ugo Egbujo: Jonathan sold Nigeria to slavery not Buhari

Jonathan betrayed Metuh. Chicken hearted Jonathan.I wonder how he will sleep today. They call him a hero. But that was shameless cowardice.

He took money from the treasury and gave his boy. The boy took the money and ran the errand of his boss. The boy might have use some for some kulikuli for himself in the typical Nigerian way of running errands.

But he was only a messenger. Buhari came in and discovered that money meant for fighting boko haram had crawled into all kinds of hands.

Metuh was called. And asked to return the money a president gave him.

He raised his brows.

They told him point blank that Jonathan stole the money.

He said he could not return the money because his oga , the president , gave it to him and he had spent it as instructed.

Let me shorten the story.

They charged him to court.

Metuh begged the judge to ask his oga to come so he could testify that he gave him the money. Metuh wanted Jonathn to tell the court that Metuh didnt know where his Oga Jonathan got the money from.

It was that simple.

The Judge looked towards Jonathan.

Jonathan refused and asked Metuh to go to hell.

Metuh had only wanted his boss, the hero to be hold, to come and tell the truth.

But Jonathan , tucked in his tail, and ran away.

Today Metuh is going to jail.

For receiving and spending money of a questionable source. Imagine oo

And Jonathan is marching around, go in and out of Aso Rock , heroically.

He negotiated immunity for only his wife and himself.

The country is full of BS!
