Umeh, Adinuba and others honoured with awards at Akwa

For their contributions to Anambra in their respective capacities, the Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Chief C Don Adinuba; Former Commissioner for information and Culture, High Chief Maja Umeh, Nigeria Union of Journalists Anambra State Council Chairman, Comr. Emma Ifesinachi, CEO/Managing Director Anambra Broadcasting Service ABS, Nze Uche Nworah, the Managing Director/CEO, Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, Sir.Chuka Nnabuife, and Director-General Anambra Digital Entrepreneurship, Office of the Governor, Engr. Ifeanyi Aniagoh Digipriest are to be honoured at an award ceremony in Awka, Anambra State.

 

Announcing the names of the special recognition awardees, the organisers, Association of Digital Media Core Advocates of Nigeria ADMCA, said the award recipients emerged after a rigorous selection process by the governing body of the organization.

 

According to the statement from the ADMCA National President, Ogbuefi Comr. Harris Chuma, other recipients expected at the award ceremony titled The Anambra Media Excellence Award Ceremony include: Hrh Igwe Rowland Odegbo Aborgu 11 Nteje, Mayor Elo Gwacham , President, Best Western Meloch Hotel, Chief Sam Nwosu, President, Marble Arch Hotels, and Mr Arinze Alinnor Editor at pmexpressng, Mr Isaac Umunna Publisher of newsexpressngr, others.

 

The event, which is billed for 4:00 pm on Wednesday, 27th of November, 2019 at Best Western Meloch Hotel, off Aroma, Ifite, Awka will also feature a lecture entitled “The Impact of Social Media on Anambra Politics” to be delivered by the former Commissioner for information and Culture Anambra State Government, High Chief Maja Umeh.
