Umo Eno: What Governor Udom Emmanuel is Planning

GOV UDOM EMMANUEL IS PLANNING TO USE HIS FAILED AND ABANDONED PROJECTS TO MARKET UMO ENO.

For want of appreciable scorecard upon which to campaign for his succession plan, Gov Udom Emmanuel would be relying on his failed and abandoned projects. In a meeting with Ikot Abasi LGA PDP leaders yesterday, the Governor said that the people of the area must support Pst Umo Eno to emerge as his successor so that the failed and abandoned Ikot Ukpo-Ikot Etenghe- Ndon-Atan Road project can be done.It will be recalled that the groundbreaking of the project was done on the 24th December, 2018, as a campaign gimmick in the build up to the 2019 election and since then, it has remained abandoned and forgotten by the government.

The state Government has set up teams comprising of State Lawmakers, local government chairmen, commissioners, traditional rulers and other functionaries of the Government to take the campaign message to the communities hosting failed and abandoned projects.

This is the first time a sitting Governor would be using failed and abandoned projects to campaign.

But, his immediate predecessor, Senator Godswill Akpabio, was using his 5-Star record of performance to campaign for him and that was the more reason many people embrace him.
