UNIBEN final-year student commits suicide after failing exam

A UNIBEN student committed suicide on Sunday, 14th July after failing exam.

 

The boy whose name is unknown as at the time of this report, jumped from the second floor of one of the hostels and died instantly.

 

He committed the suicide after failing his examinations, which made him suffer depression.


“It was however not clear if the deceased left a suicide note, but his remains which littered the floor have been deposited in a morgue.”

“Efforts to get the reaction of the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr Michael Osasuyi were unsuccessful as at press time”, says Daily Post

 

In the same vein, the SUG President of UNIBEN has called for days prayer over suicide in school.
