UNIZIK Vice Chancellor to Chair Anambra Man of the Year Award

The Vice Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Awka, Professor Charles Esimone FAS, will chair the 3rd edition of Anambra Man of the Year Award. This was made known during a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor by the award planning committee, led by Engr Dr. Stephen Ufoaroh, ASUU Chairman, UNIZIK Chapter.

 

In a letter presented to the Vice Chancellor, the group stated that the reason they reached out to the Vice-Chancellor to chair the important event was because of his integrity , the respect people have for him and the love he has for the state.

 

In his remark ,the Vice Chancellor thanked the organisers for finding him worthy to chair the occasion and the thoughtfulness of the idea to start celebrating our bests in different fields of endeavours. Professor Esimone recalled his previous recognition as one of the Anambra 100 Achievers, a distinction that received widespread celebration.

The committee equally assured the Vice Chancellor that the 2023 Anambra Man of The Year Award would exceed all expectations.

 

Scheduled to take place on July 1st, 2023, at the Stanel Dome in Awka, the Anambra Man of The Year Awards will bring together distinguished individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and positive impact in various fields. The event aims to celebrate their remarkable achievements and share their inspirational stories, motivating others to strive for excellence and contribute to their communities.
